Sriracha is located in Chonburi Province, Thailand, approximately 120 kilometers southeast of Bangkok. Its warm climate and proximity to the Gulf of Thailand make it a suitable location for cultivating various plants. Additionally, due to the presence of many industrial estates in the vicinity, research facilities are also located in the area.
The majority of cannabis farms and research facilities in Thailand are located in the northern and northeastern parts of the country. However, recent developments indicate a growing presence in the central and eastern regions as well. Chonburi Province, including Sriracha, holds potential as a new research hub alongside its industrial development.
